Veterinary nurses

Debbie is our deputy head nurse. She started her nursing career with us in 1983, and is now head of pharmacy and in charge of all the stock control and ordering. Debbie enjoys all aspects of nursing but has a special interest in radiology.

April did her veterinary nurse training with us here at Coopers Vets between 2011 and 2014. She returned to us in 2017 as a qualified nurse and we are very happy to have her back. April has become a clinical coach enabling her to help train future veterinary nurses - which she is really enjoying! She also has a keen interest in dentistry.

Alice did her veterinary nurse training at our practice from 2009 qualified in 2012. She is now one of our clinical coaches and helps our student nurses to achieve their nursing diplomas. Her sunny disposition makes her a real asset to our practice as she always tries to be positive and bubbly!

Emma studied animal science before training as a veterinary nurse and qualified in 2017. She has recently transferred to Coopers as our head nurse.

Emma is a clinical coach and has an keen interest in lab work and caring for exotic pets such as snakes and lizards!

Kelly joined our practice in 2000 but now works part time. She has a special interest in small animal dentistry and is one of the few nurses to have obtained the nursing certificate in veterinary dentistry in 2012.

Sara-Jane joined our practice in April 2000 and is now a part time veterinary nurse. She enjoys all aspects of nursing and outside of work enjoys spending time with her two rescue Terriers. She is also responsible for assisting clients with completing their insurance claims.

Stacey has worked in the veterinary industry since 2015 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in September 2019. She has a Ragdoll called Bailey and enjoys going out for lunch and reading a good book.

Katie joined us in September 2018 as a trainee student veterinary nurse. She has already completed a degree in animal management and is looking forward to becoming a veterinary nurse in the future. In her spare time Katie enjoys dog agility with her Border Collie, Todd.

Ella joined us in August 2018 as a receptionist. With Ella's keen interest in animal care, Ella has now joined the nursing team as a full time Patient Care Assistant and looks forward to progressing to be a qualified nurse. Ella is kept busy looking after her two horses and three dogs as well as other pets that she rescues. In her spare time Ella enjoys spending time with her family.
