
Donella Beaney RVN ISFM CertFN
Head Nurse
Donella is our head nurse and has been nursing since 1986. She runs our weight watchers clinics with amazing results and holds the ISFM certificate in feline friendly nursing. She is the cat advocate for the practice. Donella completed the Blue Cross bereavement course in 2017 and is now an accredited pet bereavement advisor.

Debbie Ellis RVN
Deputy Head Nurse
Debbie is our deputy head nurse. She started her nursing career with us in 1983, and is now head of pharmacy and in charge of all the stock control and ordering. Debbie enjoys all aspects of nursing but has a special interest in radiology.

Emily Eldon RVN
Emily joined us as a student nurse in October 2014 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in August 2018. She is looking forward to developing her career and has an interest in emergency and critical care. In her spare time Emily is a keen cross fitter and is looking forward to competing later this year.

April Johns RVN
April did her veterinary nurse training with us here at Coopers Vets between 2011 and 2014. She returned to us in 2017 as a qualified nurse and we are very happy to have her back. April has become a clinical coach enabling her to help train future veterinary nurses - which she is really enjoying! She also has a keen interest in dentistry.

Alice Mardell RVN
Alice did her veterinary nurse training at our practice from 2009 qualified in 2012. She is now one of our clinical coaches and helps our student nurses to achieve their nursing diplomas. Her sunny disposition makes her a real asset to our practice as she always tries to be positive and bubbly!

Kelly Page RVN
Kelly joined our practice in 2000 but now works part time. She has a special interest in small animal dentistry and is one of the few nurses to have obtained the nursing certificate in veterinary dentistry in 2012.

Sara-Jane Wilcox RVN
Sara-Jane joined our practice in April 2000 and is now a part time veterinary nurse. She enjoys all aspects of nursing and outside of work enjoys spending time with her two rescue Terriers. She is also responsible for assisting clients with completing their insurance claims.

Katie Thirkell
Student Veterinary Nurse
Katie joined us in September 2018 as a trainee student veterinary nurse. She has already completed a degree in animal management and is looking forward to becoming a veterinary nurse in the future. In her spare time Katie enjoys dog agility with her Border Collie, Todd.
